We are looking for a talented Interior Designer to support the design and delivery of residential projects from concept through construction. This role is highly client-facing and will serve as the primary design partner to homeowners, guiding them through interior design decisions while ensuring seamless execution across architecture, product, and construction.

What You’ll Do

Client Experience & Presentation

• Act as the primary design partner for homeowners, guiding them through the full interior selection process (finishes, fixtures, materials, etc.)
• Present design concepts, renderings, and visual materials to clients, clearly communicating design intent and rationale
• Manage client expectations, timelines, and decision-making throughout the design process

Design Development & Execution

• Develop interior design concepts, space planning solutions, and cohesive finish palettes for custom homes and ADUs
• Select interior finishes, fixtures, materials, lighting, and hardware aligned with project scope, design standards, and budget
• Create and prepare design presentations, renderings, mood boards, and material palettes for both clients and internal teams

Design-to-Build Integration

• Translate client selections and approved designs into clear, actionable specifications for architecture and construction teams
• Collaborate closely with architects, product, and construction teams to ensure design intent is accurately executed
• Review architectural drawings, sections, elevations, and shop drawings to ensure interior details (cabinetry, lighting, millwork) are technically sound

Documentation & Coordination

• Maintain meticulous documentation of all design selections and specifications to ensure accuracy during procurement and construction
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to source materials, confirm availability, and manage lead times
• Proactively problem-solve around material availability, budget constraints, and site conditions

Site Execution

• Conduct site visits to verify alignment between design documentation and construction
• Partner with construction teams to resolve field-based design challenges and ensure high-quality execution

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in residential interior design or interior architecture.
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods, materials, and detailing.
• Proficiency with design and documentation tools (SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
• Strong ability to present design concepts and renderings in a clear, compelling way to clients.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills—able to articulate the “why” behind design decisions to clients and the “how” to builders.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and constraints.
• Strong client management and relationship-building skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites or showrooms as needed.
