Job summary

Widseth in Rochester, MN seeks an Interior Designer who can create beautiful, functional environments. You will develop concepts, space plans, and construction documents, while coordinating with vendors and clients to deliver compelling designs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in interior design (or related) and at least two years of experience, with Revit proficiency and a drive to create thoughtful spaces. Competitive benefits available in a collaborative studio.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field from an accredited school.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
  • Certified Interior Designer or pursuing certification.
  • Proficiency in Revit documentation.
  • Knowledge of 3D Rendering and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Project organization skills: 2 years
  • Creative thinking in developing, designing and creating new applications and ideas

Responsibilities

  • Perform interior design assignments including programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, space planning, and construction documentation.
  • Develop FF&E packages with specifications of materials, fixtures, and furniture.
  • Provide design support and execution of design concepts during all project phases.
  • Produce graphic presentations, including 3D renderings, for client presentations.
  • Coordinate with material representatives, vendors, and consultants.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Prioritize tasks and balance short- and long-term deadlines and projects.
  • Contribute to design-focused, community-centered projects.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring
