Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field.
• Minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
• Certified Interior Designer or the desire to become a certified professional.
• Proficiency in Revit documentation.
• Knowledge of 3D Rendering & Adobe Creative Suites applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior design assignments from programming to construction documentation.
• Develop FF&E packages with material, fixture and furniture specs.
• Provide design support and material selections throughout all project phases.
• Produce graphic presentations, including 3D renderings for client presentations.
• Coordinate with material reps, vendors and consultants.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Show attention to detail, problem-solving and organizational skills; eagerness to learn.
• Prioritize tasks and balance short- and long-term deadlines and projects.
• Contribute to design-focused, community-centered projects.

What You’ll Do

• Perform interior design assignments that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, space planning, and construction documentation.


• Develop FF&E packages, including specifications of materials, fixtures, and furniture.


• Provide design support, material selections, and execution of design concepts during all phases of the project.


• Produce graphic presentations, including 3D renderings, for client presentations.


• Coordinate with material representatives, vendors, and consultants.


• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.


• Approach your work with attention to detail, excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, and motivation to learn.


• Prioritize tasks and balance both short-term and long-term deadlines and projects.


• Contribute to design-focused, community-centered projects

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field from an accredited school.


• Minimum of two years of relevant work experience.


• Certified Interior Designer or the desire to become a certified professional.


• Proficiency in Revit documentation required.


• Knowledge of 3D Rendering & Adobe Creative Suites applications is beneficial.


• Project organization skills: 2 years


• Creative thinking in developing, designing and creating new applications and ideas


• Knowledge of the practices and principles of interior design
