Job summary

Widseth Smith Nolting and Associates Inc in Minnesota is seeking an Interior Designer with at least two years of experience to create beautiful, functional spaces from programming to construction documents. You will develop FF&E packages, produce 3D renderings, coordinate with vendors, and support projects across markets.

Proficiency in Revit is required, with knowledge of 3D rendering and Adobe Creative Suite a plus.

Qualifications

  • Certified Interior Designer or pursuing CID.
  • Proficiency in Revit documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform interior design assignments from programming client needs to construction documentation.
  • Develop FF&E packages including materials, fixtures, and furniture.
  • Provide design support, material selections, and execution of concepts.
  • Produce 3D renderings for client presentations.
  • Coordinate with material reps, vendors, and consultants.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Balance short- and long-term deadlines and projects.

What You’ll Do
  • · Perform interior design assignments that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, space planning, and construction documentation.
  • · Develop FF&E packages, including specifications of materials, fixtures, and furniture.
  • · Provide design support, material selections, and execution of design concepts during all phases of the project.
  • · Produce graphic presentations, including 3D renderings, for client presentations.
  • · Coordinate with material representatives, vendors, and consultants.
  • · Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • · Approach your work with attention to detail, excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, and motivation to learn.
  • · Prioritize tasks and balance both short-term and long-term deadlines and projects.
  • · Contribute to design-focused, community-centered projects
What You’ll Bring
  • · Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field from an accredited school.
  • · Minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
  • · Certified Interior Designer or the desire to become a certified professional.
  • · Proficiency in Revit documentation required.
  • · Knowledge of 3D Rendering & Adobe Creative Suites applications is beneficial.
  • · Project organization skills: 2 years
  • · Creative thinking in developing, designing and creating new applications and ideas
  • · Knowledge of the practices and principles of interior design
