Job summary

The Lifestyled Co is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to lead luxury residential design projects from concept through final installation. You will collaborate closely with the Founder and leadership, transforming spaces with Organic Desert Living aesthetics and delivering exceptional client experiences.

Ideal candidates have 4–5+ years in a design firm, strong budget and procurement skills, and proficiency in SketchUp.

Qualifications

  • 4–5+ years of experience in a professional interior design firm.
  • Strong understanding of luxury residential furnishings and interiors.
  • Working knowledge of custom furniture manufacturing.
  • Experience with window treatments, textiles, and specialty fabrics.
  • Excellent client relationship and project management skills.
  • SketchUp proficiency required (AutoCAD a plus).
  • Experience with Asana or similar software.
  • Strong budgeting and procurement experience.
  • Microsoft Office and Google Workspace proficiency.
  • Passion for Organic Desert Living®.

Responsibilities

  • Lead clients through the design process from concept to final installation.
  • Design beautiful, functional residential interiors.
  • Develop furniture plans, finish selections, lighting plans, textiles, accessories, artwork, and styling concepts.
  • Work directly with vendors to develop custom pieces and negotiate pricing.
  • Manage procurement, specifications, budgets, timelines, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate schedules, site visits, measurements, deliveries, and installations.
  • Maintain project communication within Asana.
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Prepare design presentations, sample boards, and finish libraries.
  • Supervise installations and direct styling teams.
  • Assist the Design Team wherever needed.
  • Represent THELIFESTYLEDCO® at industry events.
  • Travel as required.

This role is ideal for a design professional who loves transforming spaces through furnishings, finishes, styling, and thoughtful client experiences. You'll oversee projects from concept through installation while working closely with Founder & Principal Designer Kristen Forgione and our leadership team.

JOB DESCRIPTION, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Lead clients through the design process from concept to final installation.
