Job summary

Casa Tua in Miami is seeking an experienced interior designer/architect with strong creative vision to design and present layouts for diverse projects. You will meet with clients to capture objectives, advise on design direction, and coordinate with vendors to fulfill project requirements.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is essential, and a state license or NCARB determination is required to facilitate multi-state work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of experience in related field.

The ideal candidate will have excellent creative thinking skills and be able to create designs based on conversations with a client. The candidate should be confident communicating regularly with the client in order to assess their needs and be able to adjust a given approach based on feedback. The candidate should maintain familiarity with the interior design landscape and trends in order to provide the best ideas for clients.

• Ability to legally stamp, seal, and take responsible control of commercial interior design and construction documents.
• Active NCARB (National Council of Architectural Registration Boards) certificate required to facilitate multi-state reciprocal licensure
• Willingness and capability to quickly obtain licensure by endorsement in additional US states as project needs dictate.
