Base Pay Range

$65,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
  • Work in a team environment and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on varying project types.
  • Serve as the main design point of contact with shareholders and consultants on select projects.
  • Collaborate on interior design assignments that include programming, project strategy, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning, consultant coordination, and construction administration.
  • Coordinate with senior team members and project managers on delivery of project milestones.
  • Capable with minimal supervision in the selection and presentation of color palettes, lighting, and furniture specifications.
  • Produce graphic presentations for shareholder presentations.
  • Generate finish plans, specifications, and material selections.
  • Work with external consultants, product representatives, furniture wholesalers, contractors, fabricators, and other vendors to meet overall project objectives.
  • Routinely direct and mentor one or more intern designers.
  • Assist in managing project expectations, team communication, and consultant coordination.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited school.
  • 2–3 years of experience as a Designer.
  • Working towards NCIDQ, CID and LEED accreditation.
  • Proficient in Sketch‑Up, Enscape, AutoCAD, with working knowledge of Revit.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Strong knowledge of the design process, including FF+E, furniture selection and specifications, color, and materials.
  • Outstanding conceptual 3‑dimensional thinking and graphic presentation skills to effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Close attention to detail and technical abilities.
  • A quick learner with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced work environment.
  • Basic residential code knowledge to enable code‑compliant space planning.
  • Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development.
