DELV Design is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our collaborative, place-based design practice in Indianapolis. The role leads interior design scopes from concept through completion on multidisciplinary projects, translating client goals into thoughtful, buildable spaces.

We look for 4–9 years of professional interior design experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, and proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

  • 4–9 years of professional interior design experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design.
  • Commercial interiors and construction documentation experience.
  • Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • NCIDQ or other relevant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Programming, space planning, materials, finishes, and FF&E
  • Developing client presentations, interior drawings, details, and specifications
  • Coordinating interiors with architectural and engineering systems
  • Managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and client communication
  • Supporting construction administration and mentoring less experienced designers

Interior Designer

4–9 years of experience | $60,000–$80,000 annually

DELV is looking for an experienced Interior Designer to join our collaborative, place-based design practice. We create thoughtful, contemporary spaces rooted in community, context, and the people who use them.

The Role

The Interior Designer leads interior design scopes within multidisciplinary projects and manages interior-focused projects from concept through completion. Working closely with architects, consultants, clients, and contractors, this role helps translate ideas and client goals into thoughtful, functional, and buildable spaces.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Programming, space planning, materials, finishes, and FF&E
  • Developing client presentations, interior drawings, details, and specifications
  • Coordinating interiors with architectural and engineering systems
  • Managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and client communication
  • Supporting construction administration and mentoring less experienced designers
What We're Looking For
  • 4–9 years of professional interior design experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design
  • Commercial interiors and construction documentation experience
  • Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong design judgment, communication, and organizational skills
  • NCIDQ or other relevant certification preferred

Salary: $60,000–$80,000 based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated project leadership.
