Job summary

CCI, LLC is seeking an Interior Designer to join our boutique commercial interior design firm in East Haddam, CT. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills to carry projects from concept to completion in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You should have a BA/BS in interior design, at least four years of related experience, and advanced proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit, as well as Photoshop, SketchUp and Enscape. Strong communication and organizational abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design concepts and prepare product specifications for commercial design projects.
• Prepare drawings on AutoCAD/Revit, including space planning, finish plans, 3D isometrics, elevations, and installation drawings.
• Prepare finish and furniture specifications, client presentation books, and materials.
• Collaborate with design team and Project Manager to ensure client satisfaction.
• Support flexible hours with some remote work as needed.

Requirements:

• BA/BS in interior design or related field
• Minimum 4 years of related industry experience
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit, as well as Photoshop, Sketchup, and Enscape
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate (oral and written) effectively and professionally with team members, management and clients
• Creative problem-solving skills with excellent follow through
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative atmosphere
• Work well under pressure, multitasking and prioritizing workflow

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Design concepts and prepare product specifications for commercial design projects
• Prepare drawings on AutoCAD/Revit, inclusive of but not limited to space planning, finish plans, (3D) isometrics, elevations and sections and detail installation drawings
• Prepare finish and furniture specifications, client presentation books and materials
Work closely with design team and Project Manager to ensure client satisfaction
