Job summary

AllTek is partnering with a local client to recruit an exceptional Interior Designer to lead creative and operational aspects of interior spaces across commercial settings. You will collaborate closely with tenants, architects, and vendors to deliver design concepts, space plans, and finish selections from concept through construction completion.

This in-office role requires strong communication, project management, and knowledge of building codes, with 3–5 years of experience and NCIDQ

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of commercial interior design principles and space planning.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation.
• Experience developing design concepts, space plans, and finish selections.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with building codes, accessibility, and safety standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or interior architecture.
• 3–5 years of relevant commercial interior design experience.
• NCIDQ certification or in progress.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or interior architecture.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in commercial settings, especially tenant improvements.
• NCIDQ certification or working toward certification.

Other Requirements

• In-office only position.
• Willingness to travel locally to project sites as needed.
