VMDO Architects is seeking an experienced and passionate Interior Designer to join our team. We are looking for a creative problem solver who is committed to health + wellness and sustainable design, particularly in educational and community spaces.

Who You Are

• A design professional with 4+ years of experience in interior design or architecture.
• Passionate about creating spaces that enhance well-being, sustainability, and community engagement.
• A strong collaborator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
• Proficient in Revit, with experience in SketchUp and other visualization tools.
• NCIDQ certified or hold an equivalent professional accreditation.
• Experienced in designing for K-12, higher education, and library environments (preferred).

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design and development of interior spaces that prioritize health, wellness, and sustainable best practices.
• Create design and construction models using Revit and SketchUp.
• Assist in developing studies, visualizations, presentations, construction documents, and FF&E specifications.
• Research and integrate sustainable materials, wellness strategies, and evidence-based design solutions into projects.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and consultants to ensure coordinated, high-performance design solutions.
