Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart Inc. is seeking an Interior Designer to plan, design and furnish residential and commercial spaces on site in Cedar Park, TX. You will engage clients, translate style preferences into layouts and budget plans, and coordinate purchases for a complete design solution.

The role requires a degree in Interior Design, 3 years of retail sales experience, and a strong knowledge of furniture styles. Availability for evenings or weekends may be needed to align with business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field preferred.
• 3 years of retail sales experience. ASID membership preferred
• Broad range knowledge of furniture and furniture styles preferred
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Basic PC skills preferred
• Proofreading skills preferred
• Ability to work night and/or weekends based on business needs
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Order: Purchase furnishings, art works, area rugs, accessories etc.
• Follow-up: Reach out to the client to confirm satisfaction of all designer services
