Nebraska Furniture Mart, Inc. is seeking a Visual Merchandiser to craft compelling department displays that align with brand standards and drive sales. You will collaborate with Merchandising, Display, Facilities, and Visual Leadership to execute floor sets and lighting plans, while staying current on industry trends.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent experience, plus 3 years in visual display within retail. Nights/weekends may be required, and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in merchandising, display, design, art or related area or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of visual display or related experience, preferably in a retail home furnishings or fashion‑related business.
• Ability to multi‑task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Good color vision and the ability to coordinate colors and styles.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work with little to no supervision.
• MS Office applications knowledge.
• Ability to work nights and/or weekends.
• Pre‑employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check.

As NFM’s Visual Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating a compelling customer experience by ensuring that room settings and stand‑alone displays are cohesive, on‑trend, and inspiring. This will be accomplished while taking initiative to add additional responsibilities, projects, and tasks to support Visual initiatives within the store.
