Job summary

Ethan Allen Global, Inc. is seeking a Design Consultant to work with customers in the design center, remotely, or in their homes to deliver individualized design solutions using Ethan Allen products and services.

The role emphasizes relationship-based selling, social media promotion, and achievement of sales benchmarks with a full-time schedule. Compensation is incentive-based with draw and commission opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant work experience.
• At least 1 year of practical interior design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in design-related field desirable.
• Broad knowledge of interior design and sales techniques.
• Experience with online sales and design tools.
• Good listening, written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of social media and grassroots marketing to build a book of business.
• Valid driver’s license for home visits within requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create design solutions aligned with customer preferences and budget.
• Sell Ethan Allen products and services.
• Represent the brand in all customer interactions and conduct home visits to close sales.
• Utilize social media and grassroots marketing to grow the business.
• Educate customers on Ethan Allen design services and financing options.
• Stay current on design trends and provide timely order updates to customers.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional service pre- and post-sale.
