Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design seeks an Assistant Project Manager - Interior Design to join the Commercial Building Engineering Services team in Philadelphia, PA. You will assist in technical and administrative direction, coordinating with the Project Manager and client to ensure contract alignment and on-time delivery.

The role offers collaboration with architects, interior designers, engineers, and planners, with opportunities to develop toward project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture or Interior Design required.
• 8+ years of interior design experience on commercial projects.
• NCIDQ certification and/or AIA licensure in PA preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit is required.
• AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp experience is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of effective work plans and labor budgets.
• Monitor time schedules and capital cost budgets to satisfy client.
• Oversee the work and productivity on assigned projects.
• Strive to achieve predetermined goals for profit, productivity targets, and schedule of deliverables.
• Participate in team meetings ensuring QA/QC procedures are followed.
• Negotiate with clients on scope changes relative to budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate and communicate with project team and stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Review monthly labor and cost reports for project completion against goals.
• Mentor junior staff in technical and business practices.
• Assist with preparation for public hearings, meetings and presentations.
