Job summary

HOK is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to interpret, organize, and execute conceptual design for complex projects across offices, airports, hospitals, schools and more. You will lead space planning, furnishings, lighting and finishes, ensuring practicality, aesthetics, safety and alignment with client goals and budgets.

Applicants should have 5+ years of interior design experience, hold NCIDQ certification or be a licensed Architect, and obtain LEED credentials within 12 months.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Interior Designer in offices, airports, hospitals, or similar.
• Must be professional Interior Designer and NCIDQ or Architect license.
• LEED credential required within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead design concepts that meet client goals and budget.
• Coordinate space planning, furnishings, lighting, color and finishes.
• Manage design development through construction administration and site reviews.
• Maintain strong client relationships and communicate progress regularly.
• Coordinate with consultants, vendors and other disciplines to ensure design intent.
• Oversee documentation, contracts, budgeting, scheduling and procurement.
