Job summary

SERA is seeking an interior architect with strong BIM and graphics skills in San Francisco to lead interior design tasks and BIM execution on complex projects.

You will coordinate with vendors, manage client presentations, and ensure compliance with building codes while delivering high-quality interiors work. This role requires independent work across all project phases and proactive collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited program.
• 4–7 years of industry experience in an architect or interiors office.
• May be NCIDQ but not required.
• Handle the health and welfare of the Revit model.
• Develop, codify, and enforce the BIM Execution Plan on assigned projects.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office required.
• Knowledge of Sketchup, Bluebeam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with the client to achieve project goals.
• Familiarity with project contract requirements.
• Research and select finishes appropriate for the project type.
• Lead portions of interiors client presentations.
• Work independently on all phases of a project.
• Create and organize work plans to execute tasks.
• Perform basic project management functions (schedules, staffing, budgets).
• Independently coordinate MEP systems relating to interior work.
