SOM in New York invites students currently enrolled in accredited bachelor’s or master’s programs in interiors or architecture to join the Summer Internship Program. Participants will learn from experts across design disciplines, work on real-world projects, and gain hands-on experience in space planning and visualization.

The program emphasizes collaboration, portfolio development, and professional growth, with compensation ranging from $24 to $26 per hour, based on experience and location.

Qualifications

• Current student in an accredited bachelor's or master's program in interiors, architecture or related field.
• Some experience in the interior design profession or associated arts.
• Strong design capabilities as demonstrated in portfolio or work samples.
• Demonstrates basic abilities in Space Planning 2D/3D drawings and rendering.
• Proficiency in Revit, Rhino and Adobe Suite.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
