Job summary

studios is seeking Architectural Designer Interns and Interior Designer Interns for their New York office. Candidates should possess a passion for modern design, a strong portfolio, and knowledge of environmentally sensitive systems. Interns will collaborate with experienced architects and designers, contributing to the design and documentation of diverse projects.

This role requires full-time availability for 3 months, with responsibilities including producing renderings, assisting with material selections, and participating in site visits. A competitive hourly pay of $25-$30 is offered based on experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to commit to full-time hours (8:30AM - 5:30PM, Monday - Friday) for 3 months.
• Portfolio demonstrating intelligent, innovative design solutions.
• Interest in various project types including commercial, civic, retail, and cultural.

Responsibilities

• Produce graphic material and renderings for design presentations.
• Assist with material and finish selection; create material boards.
• Participate in site visits, including field surveys.

Skills

Knowledge of REVIT

Experience producing material boards

Strong presentation graphics

Education

Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Architectural or Interior design
