Seldens Designer Home Furnishings in Olympia, WA is seeking an enthusiastic interior designer with strong sales instincts to turn client vision into beautiful spaces. You will conduct in-home design consultations, propose furniture and accessories, and build lasting relationships with customers.

This is a commission-based role with earnings potential of $48k to $100k yearly, plus training and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Capable of engaging customers to determine their needs according to taste, lifestyle, and investment range.
• Willingness to work weekends, and holidays.
• Learn and promote Selden’s core values.
• Creating, presenting, and selling product and design solutions.
• Ability to drive to customers’ residences and businesses for design consultations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience with furniture preferred.
• Self-motivated.
• Desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Promote furniture sales through customer design consultations.
• Determine style, type, and quality of merchandise desired to fit the clients’ personal style and lifestyle.
• Stay informed with all products Seldens offers.
• Make house calls to clients to provide a complete design solution.
• Design exceptional experiences for our clients.
