A leading automotive engineering company in California is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Door Trim Design Engineer. You will collaborate with the Styling team on feasibility studies, design Door Trim assemblies, and develop requirements for automotive components. The ideal candidate has significant experience in Door Trim engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Door Trim DRE in interior engineering.
• Experience in automotive Door trim components and subsystems (10+ years).
• Knowledge of Door trim manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Styling team to perform feasibility studies, check A-class surface, and define craftsmanship targets.
• Design and complete Door Trim assembly.
• Design automotive component parts in CATIA V6.
• Review inputs, clarify input queries, and make a rough initial estimation.
• Develop and execute Door trim system requirements.

Qualifications

• Good working experience as Door Trim DRE in interior engineering (Min 3 years).
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Diploma with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in automotive Door trim components and subsystem.
• Good knowledge of Door trim manufacturing processes.
