Responsibilities

• Design of automotive exterior trim component in a DRE role
• Develop and execute exterior trim system requirements for automotive (Cars and SUVs)
• Complete and release exterior components, sub-system and detail designs (Bumper, Facia, Cladding, Garnish, Spoiler etc)
• Collaborate with key exterior system and plastic component suppliers and support overall vehicle development milestones and prototype/production build events
• Perform feasibility and packaging study

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive exterior / bumper components and subsystem
• Knowledge of plastic manufacturing technologies
• In-depth knowledge of plastic tooling and hands on experience in Catia V6 required
