Job summary

Leland is seeking an experienced interior design coach to work with clients looking to transform their living spaces and to help aspiring designers enter the field. You will guide style discovery, mood boards, concept development, color and material selection, and room layout and space planning, while also handling lighting design and furniture sourcing.

Qualifications

• Hands-on interior design experience.
• Experience coaching or consulting clients.
• Structured approach to guiding clients through design projects.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients through style discovery and concept development.
• Develop mood boards and design concepts for spaces.
• Select colors, materials, lighting, and décor.
• Plan room layouts and space planning for projects.
• Provide budget planning and renovation guidance.
• Mentor aspiring designers to build skills and careers.
• Offer sessions virtually and set own hours and rates.

This role includes helping clients with style discovery & exploration, mood board & concept development, color & material selection, and room layout & space planning, as well as lighting design and furniture & decor sourcing. Coaches also provide budget planning and renovation & remodel guidance for personal projects, while helping aspiring designers build their skills and navigate a career in the industry. Coaches support general exploration for clients still discovering their design goals or career direction. Ideal candidates have hands-on interior design experience, prior coaching or consulting experience, and a clear, structured approach to helping clients bring their vision to life. Coaches set their own hours and rates, host sessions virtually, and partner with our team to deliver a high-quality, supportive experience for every client.
