As an interior cabinet technician you will be fabricating complex high quality furniture and other wood-surfaced subassemblies for installation in world class business aircraft. Some of the tasks you may be required to complete include parts replacements or repair, basic electrical system installation and general mechanical applications. Modifications, repair, refurbishment and fabrication of aircraft cabinets are the primary functions. Job duties will vary each day and are designated by the Team Leader in charge of that project.

These technicians have very limited to no knowledge of the position
This level requires close supervision and constant check ins on work performance

Will need general supervision and instructions
4-6 years of experience in aviation, auto, RV, Marine or related field
Full knowledge of the job and complete understanding of detailed aspects

We're looking for team players who are self-motivated and able to perform in a fast-paced environment where working under specific deadlines and time constraints will be common.
Attend work every day as scheduled to include overtime and weekend assignments.
Notify supervisor in advance of shift starting if unable to work.
Must have reliable transportation to get to work each and every day.

Assist in major modification work as needed
Lifts 50 lbs.

Routing or repetitive physical motion with arms and hands with emphasis on grasping, feeling and finger dexterity.
Standing for long periods of time.
Climb ladders and stairs, work in small restricted areas
Understanding and implementation of regulations and guidelines including but not limited to OSHA, Hazmat, etc.
Work with others in a professional manner.

Plan and organize procedures and operations
Work under supervision of assigned Team Leader and Interior Management
May be directed to supervise other technicians in some capacity.

The majority of work will be performed in a hangar or shop environment
Work outside on the ramp on occasion
Varied positions in and around the aircraft.
Personal hand tools supplied by the mechanic.
Electrical power tools such as sanders, saws, power drills, etc.
