Mid-Level Interior Architect / Designer Wanted for Dynamic DC Firm

Are you a versatile architect or designer looking to make your mark on Washington, DC's vibrant urban and suburban landscapes? Join our award-winning small firm and work on an exciting array of projects that shape the city's retail, dining, and commercial spaces!

The Role:

  • Guide place-making & ground floor retail design opportunities for mixed-use / commercial developments.
  • Contribute to cutting-edge retail, restaurant, and commercial designs.
  • Work with National Clients on regional rollouts.
  • Collaborate with award-winning chefs on unique dining concepts.
  • Participate in conceptual design proposals and make material & finish selections.
  • Have direct contact with Clients and take responsibility for project deliverables.
  • Work with contractors throughout the construction of projects you’ve designed and permitted.

What We're Looking For:

  • 2-5+ years of experience, with a focus on retail/restaurant/commercial design.
  • Strong technical proficiency in construction documentation.
  • Expertise in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
  • Exceptional design skills and a compelling portfolio.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Adaptability and eagerness to take on diverse responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Architecture or Interior Design (Master's preferred for Architects).
  • Professional license or on track for licensure.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
