Job summary

San Domenico School in San Anselmo, CA seeks a temporary Upper School Math Teacher for January through June 2027 (1.0 FTE). You will teach 3–4 courses to 9th–11th grade students, plan lessons, and post weekly agendas and resources to Canvas in an 80-minute block schedule.

Minimum qualifications include a BS or higher in Mathematics, classroom and/or online teaching experience, and a teaching credential is preferred. The position includes a competitive salary and daily lunch.

Qualifications

• BS or higher degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Classroom and/or online teaching experience.
• Teaching credential is preferred.
• Previous experience working with international students.
• Experience teaching with student laptops.
• Experience building and delivering curriculum through an LMS (Canvas, Blackboard, etc.).
• Teaching in a block schedule.

Responsibilities

• Teach 3–4 courses to a wide range of learners at the 9th–11th grade levels.
• Plan lessons and post weekly agendas and resources to Canvas.
• Teach with clear computational and mathematical explanations, labs, and interactive lessons.
• Classes are on an 80-minute block schedule and meet every other day.
