You will join an organisation committed to creating vibrant, accessible, and sustainable communities. As part of the Environment and Place team, you will work with individuals dedicated to developing forward-thinking transport strategies that improve the lives of residents, businesses, and visitors.
You will be instrumental in shaping the movement and place strategy, aligning it with broader local transport plans, and supporting place-led priorities across Oxfordshire. Your responsibilities will include stakeholder engagement, policy development, technical analysis, consultation leadership, and advising on policy integration. You will support the development, approval, and reporting of transport policies, lead consultations, and provide technical expertise on transport strategy proposals.
To succeed, you should have a degree in transport planning or a related field, with proven experience in transport planning, including advisory roles.
A competitive daily rate of up to £500, with a 12-month contract.
