Job summary

Daley And Associates, LLC is seeking an Interim Senior Accountant for a 4-month contract near Milton, MA. The role supports daily accounting operations and plays a key part in the Sage Intacct ERP transition.

The successful candidate will have 5-6+ years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and hands-on Sage Intacct expertise to manage GL, period-end close, reconciliations, and ERP testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5-6+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on Sage Intacct experience.
• Strong general ledger and month-end close experience.
• Experience preparing journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and analysis.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and ability to research discrepancies.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly and work with external partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries and routine GL transactions.
• Perform reconciliations, balance sheet analysis, and research discrepancies.
• Support month-end close with accruals, schedules, and reconciliations.
• Analyze subledger-to-GL activity and investigate variances.
• Provide hands-on support for Sage Intacct implementation, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain day-to-day accounting operations and cover maternity leave.
• Identify and resolve issues from new ERP processes and workflows.
• Collaborate with Finance and external consultants to improve processes.
• Ensure data integrity and internal controls throughout ERP transition.
• Seek opportunities for process improvements and efficiency.
