Position Summary:

We are seeking an Interim Plant Controller to join a leading global manufacturer of innovative residential and commercial flooring products. This role will serve as the primary financial business partner to plant leadership across two key locations in Pennsylvania. The focus is on cost control, financial analysis, and operational improvement. This position is on-site, 5 days a week, in Lancaster, PA.

• Lead monthly close and variance analysis for two plant locations.
• Coordinate inventory control, fixed asset reconciliation, and cost modeling.
• Analyze key production and cost KPIs, trends, and variances.
• Support productivity initiatives and year-over-year cost reduction planning.
• Build forecasts and assist in developing the annual plant budget.
• Modernize plant cost reporting and performance tracking.
• Partner with plant teams to coach on cost drivers and operational impacts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong background in cost accounting and plant financial operations.

Salary Range:

SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $65 – 70.
