Job summary

RPh on the Go USA, Inc. seeks a Director of Pharmacy for a six-week contract at a 25-licensed-bed facility in Hillsboro, IL. The role requires partnering with clinical teams to deliver quality pharmacy services in a small hospital setting.

The position reports to leadership, oversees TPT, antimicrobial stewardship, and infection prevention committees, and manages CPSI/CPS workflows, Sentri7, Pyxis, and sterile equipment. Eligible candidates may receive housing and meals.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated Director or pharmacy leadership experience is required.
• Familiarity with CPSI order entry systems preferred.
• Experience or knowledge of CPS is a plus.
• Strong understanding of sterile compounding and regulatory compliance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and collaborate with the Infection Prevention Specialist on the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program and Infection Prevention Committee
• Manage sterile compounding processes and ensure adherence to quality and regulatory compliance with support from the compliance team
• Facilitate onboarding and training for PRN pharmacists and technicians, including assessing delegation of job roles amongst the pharmacy team
• Oversee use of pharmacy technologies including Sentri7 automation, Pyxis system, and sterile compounding equipment
• Provide administrative support related to order filling and pharmacy operations
