Job summary

VMP Healthcare & Community Living seeks an experienced Interim Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) to oversee daily operations of a 130-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in West Allis, WI. The Administrator will provide operational leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, manage staff and departments, and maintain high resident care standards.

Start date ideally August 31, 2026 but flexible. This interim role requires strong LTC knowledge, budgeting, and survey readiness, with MatrixCare usage for

Qualifications

• Active Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of Nursing Home Administrator or long-term care leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of LTC regulations, survey processes, staffing management, budgeting, and quality assurance.
• Experience in post-acute or skilled nursing facility operations preferred.
• BSN is not required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all facility operations, including clinical, financial, and administrative functions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local long-term care regulations.
• Lead and support department managers and interdisciplinary teams.
• Manage staffing, budgeting, census, and operational performance.
• Maintain survey readiness and coordinate regulatory inspections.
• Oversee quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and clinical leadership to ensure quality resident care.
• Utilize MatrixCare for documentation and operational management.
