Job summary

The role requires a current Nursing Home Administrator license, a related bachelor’s degree (preferred), and strong leadership, communication, and budgeting skills. You will lead policy implementation, staff development, and quality-of-care initiatives across the facility.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator license in the state.
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Administration or Business Administration or health-related field preferred.
• 2 years’ experience in a supervisor role; recent long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of reimbursement regulations and nursing practices in facility administration.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the facility’s programs and activities.
• Assist department directors in policies, procedures, and professional standards of practice.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies by staff, residents, visitors, and the public.
• Conduct daily staff meetings, inspections, and address survey findings with corrective actions.
• Aid in developing plans of correction for deficiencies and monitor timetables.
• Review workforce competence and make necessary adjustments.
• Support recruitment and selection of department directors and licensed staff.
• Participate in budgeting, census goals, and cost-control initiatives.
