Paradigm at Bay City is seeking a licensed Nursing Home Administrator to oversee daily operations, ensure compliance, and drive financial performance. You will lead staff, manage risk, and implement policies to uphold resident care standards.

The role requires Texas licensure, a relevant bachelor's degree, and 2+ years in healthcare leadership, preferably in long-term care. Strong communication, budgeting, and organizational skills are essential in a fast-paced facility environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered nursing home administrator license in the state of Texas.
• Bachelor's degree in Public Health Administration or Business Administration (health related degree acceptable).
• Two years’ supervisory healthcare experience; recent long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of reimbursement regulations and nursing facility administration laws.
• Ability to read and interpret financial statements, reports, and models.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the facility’s programs in line with governing guidelines.
• Assist department directors in policy/procedure development and professional standards.
• Ensure staff, residents, visitors follow established policies and procedures; conduct regular inspections.
• Assist in corrective action plans for deficiencies with timetables and monitoring methods.
• Review workforce competence and adjust staffing as needed; support recruitment of leaders.
• Provide leadership in training, orientation, and in-service to maintain current materials.
