Healthcare Executive Placements Inc. (HCEPInc.) is seeking an Interim Nurse Manager – Utilization Management for a W2 contract based in San Diego, California. The role oversees 24-hour departments, ensures compliance with nursing standards, budgets resources, and drives quality care.

The assignment is 13 weeks with high likelihood of extension. Schedule is 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, full-time, in San Diego, CA. Benefits include paid sick leave, holidays, co-paid health/dental/vision, and 401(k)

Qualifications

• BSN or BA in health care related field required.
• CPR certification required.
• Extensive nursing experience in patient care and management/leadership roles (approx. 5 years).
• Knowledge of Nurse Practice Act, The Joint Commission and other regulations.

Responsabilités

• Manages 24-hour departments providing patient care services.
• Ensures staff provide high quality, accessible, cost effective care.
• Develops and maintains clinical standards of care and practice; responsible for budgeting and development.
