Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group is seeking an Interim Legal Systems Business Analyst. Remote work with a focus on leading requirements, designing legal tech solutions, and optimizing CLM processes.

You will partner with Legal Operations, IT, and business stakeholders to deploy enhancements, automate workflows, and measure success. Experience with Ironclad and Salesforce is preferred, plus low-code platforms for rapid delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in legal technology, legal operations, or business analysis supporting legal departments.
• Experience implementing and supporting CLM platforms, preferably Ironclad.
• Strong knowledge of workflow automation, approval routing, and contract-related processes.
• Hands-on with low-code platforms and AI-enabled legal workflows.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead requirements-gathering sessions with legal, business, and technical stakeholders to identify and document functional and technical specifications.
• Analyze, design, and optimize legal technology solutions supporting commercial contracting and legal operations workflows.
• Partner with Legal Operations, CLM administrators, IT teams, and business stakeholders to deliver system enhancements and new functionality.
• Support and improve contract lifecycle management processes, including workflow automation, approval routing, and reporting.
• Develop metrics and success measures to evaluate project effectiveness and business impact.
• Build and deploy low-code workflow and case management solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI within legal workflows, design AI-enabled solutions, evaluate output quality, and train end users on implementation and adoption.

BACKGROUND

• 8+ years of experience in legal technology, legal operations, or business analysis roles supporting legal departments, including requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Proven experience implementing and supporting Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms (with strong preference for Ironclad) including deep understanding of the end-to-end contract lifecycle.
• Experience designing and supporting workflow automation, approval routing, and contract-related business processes.
• Strong knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem and related integrations.
• Hands-on experience with legal AI technologies (Harvey, Claude, Gemini) and practical application of AI within legal workflows.
• Experience building solutions using low-code platforms such as Airtable, Google AppSheet, or similar workflow and case management tools.

Pay Rate

$85/Hour

Individual compensation offered for this position within the pay range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
