Job Opportunity: Infection Preventionist (Interim) - RN

Complete Care at Heritage, located in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a dedicated Infection Preventionist RN to join our team. We are committed to providing high-quality healthcare with compassion and are looking for professionals who share our values.

Position Details

• Full Time
• Day Shift
• No On Call
• Occasional Weekend Support
• Requires Active RN License in Maryland
• Long Term Care Leadership Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate infection prevention goals and action plans in collaboration with facility leadership.
• Establish a system for prevention, identification, investigation, and control of infections among residents, staff, and visitors, including surveillance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of staff development programs.
• Assess ongoing learning needs of employees to meet resident and facility needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing and Administrator.

Qualifications

• Experience managing staff is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency with computer systems.
• Previous long-term care experience is a plus but not required.
