Job summary

Qualifications

• Hold at minimum an Associate degree related to/led to the candidate's health care license, registration, or certification.
• 5 years of relevant work experience within the last 10 years; or
• 1 year of relevant work experience within the last 10 years and a Bachelor's degree related to/led to the health care license; or
• A master's degree related to/led to the health care license.

Responsibilities

• Planning lessons in accordance with students' learning objectives.
• Preparing the classroom.
• Providing instruction.
• Maintains an organized and professional classroom.
• Maintains ongoing curriculum evaluation and development to meet student needs.
• Collaborates with other faculty in delivering instructional approaches.
• Implements curriculum and instruction per TN State standards.
• Shows empathy and understanding of students.
• Proactively resolves problems with students and parents.
• Facilitates conferences with parents/students/teachers.
• Continues professional development.
• Follows policies of Maury County Public School Board and Tennessee State Department of Education.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
• Sponsoring an active CTSO through HOSA.
