Qualifications

• Must hold a current healthcare professional license, registration, or certification related to healthcare (GaPSC 505-2-.87).
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus; Instructorship in CPR required within 1 year of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of occupational healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Instruct Healthcare Science Technology to HS Allied Health pathways and/or MS Healthcare Science courses.
• Deliver content based on state/local curriculum via classroom, lab, and co-curricular activities.
• Lead CTSO activities (e.g., HOSA) as a co-curricular instructional tool.
• Manage facilities, equipment, and program operations to align with guidelines.
• Communicate with students, parents, colleagues, and district leadership.
• Support home-school communication and integrate technology into instruction.
• Ensure safety and adhere to district policies and professional ethics.
