The post focuses on delivering accurate NHSE returns, supporting the year-end process and the rollout of Oracle Fusion finance, while leading balance sheet reconciliations and cash/VAT/charitable funds management.

• Assist in the completion of the Trust’s monthly and annual NHSE returns, ensuring these represent a true and fair view and meet financial timescales and legal requirements.
• Support the Head of Financial Services and Financial Controller throughout the year-end process and rollout of new Oracle Fusion finance system.
• Be the lead on the Trust’s Balance Sheet ensuring control accounts are reconciled and reviewed promptly and liaising with other departments within Finance to understand and clear outstanding items
• Manage and provide effective leadership to cash management, VAT and Charitable Funds.
• Support staff development within the Financial Services team.
