Consult is seeking a hands-on Interim Director of Finance to lead accounting and financial operations across three Santa Monica hotels, with Shore Hotel as the primary work location. The Interim Director will provide financial leadership, maintain operational continuity, and support ownership and property leadership on profitability, capital allocation, and financial decisions during the transition period.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in hospitality finance with leadership experience
• Interim, task force or multi-property finance experience preferred
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and controls
• Proven cost-saving, workflow redesign, and tech integration
• Proficient in Excel; BI tools and AI-enabled finance applications advantageous

Responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, working capital, and reporting for three properties
• Partner with ownership and GMs on profitability and capital expenditures
• Develop models and ROI analyses to support decisions
• Drive cost controls and process automation across the finance function
• Lead the finance team during the transition to permanent leadership
