Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for an Interim Employment Counsel for an emerging health tech organization.

Overview: Our client seeks a skilled employment attorney to advise on employment agreements and the creation of employment handbooks and policies.

Company: Our client is a health tech company offering a personalized platform for health insurance and care products.

Experience: Eight or more years of employment law experience acquired in a top law firm or in-house environment.

Location: Fully remote.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist with creation and implementation of library of form employment agreements.
  • Review, negotiate and draft employment agreements for both US-based and international employees.
  • Assist with the creation of process and a playbook for corporate events such as a reduction in force (RIF)
  • Assist client with the creation of an employee handbook and policies.
Qualifications Include:
  1. Excellent academic credentials including a law degree from a top, national law school.
  2. Admission to at least one state bar; active and in good standing.
  3. Eight or more years of employment law experience acquired in an AmLaw 100 firm and/or an in-house environment.
  4. Command of issues associated with negotiating and drafting employment agreements for both US-based and international employees.
  5. Experience providing employment counseling on major corporate events including mergers, integrations, and reductions in force (RIF).
