FullShift Staffing is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee Nursing Services in the Northern CA area. The DON will supervise 24-hour nursing operations and ensure care quality in alignment with physician orders, state and federal regulations.

The role requires an active RN license in the state of practice, an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing, and at least two years of nursing supervision experience, with five years in long-term or acute care preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state where practice is required.
• Associate or Bachelor Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; at least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate total care plans for each resident per physician orders and regulations.
• Communicate and interpret policies to nursing staff; monitor practices.
• Participate in admissions decisions and visit prospective residents.
• Attend daily/weekly management meetings to discuss resident status, census, personnel, or complaints.
• Other duties may be assigned with or without notice.
