Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited institution plus five years of management/leadership experience in higher education.
• In-depth knowledge of Education Code, Title 5 and related regulations.
• Ability to supervise faculty and staff and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage, evaluate and coordinate academic subject areas and student services in line with laws and policies.
• Establish goals, objectives and plans; communicate policies to division staff.
• Hire, evaluate and retain faculty and staff; coordinate professional development.
• Prepare teaching assignments and schedules; assign staff to duties.
• Prepare budgets and monitor program-operating budgets.
• Serve on district or college committees and task forces.
• Promote programs and respond to inquiries about offerings and services.
• Prepare catalog, schedules and info; recommend new programs.
