Job summary

Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District's Grossmont College in San Diego County is seeking a Dean of Student Affairs to provide leadership, budget management, and strategic direction for student services including PACT and campus programs.

Under the Vice President of Student Services, the Dean will supervise faculty and staff, oversee hiring and development, and ensure alignment with district policies and equity goals, while supporting a diverse, student-centered learning environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in higher education administration from an accredited institution.
• Five years of management, supervision or leadership experience in higher education.
• Knowledge of Education Code, Title 5 and related administrative regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate and evaluate academic areas and student services per district policies.
• Plan, set goals and communicate district policies to division staff.
• Hire, evaluate and retain faculty and staff; coordinate professional development.
