Qualifications: Hold a valid Tennessee teaching license with the appropriate CTE endorsement for the subject area.
Candidates with relevant industry experience may qualify for a Practitioner Occupational License while completing an approved educator preparation program.
Industry experience: Depending on the license pathway, a minimum amount of relevant work experience in the subject is required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Demonstrated expertise in the technical subject area.
Strong instructional and classroom management skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Organizational and time-management abilities.

Lifting: Frequent moderate lifting and carrying (15–50 pounds)
Environment: Work is conducted in a typical school and/or technical laboratory environment.
