Job summary

HCT Healthcare Transformation is seeking an Interim Credentialing Assistant in California to support the credentialing team. You will monitor expirable documents, track credentials, and assist with compliance follow-up to ensure timely renewals and complete provider documentation.

Responsibilities include maintaining logs, notifying team members of upcoming expirations, and reviewing documents for completeness while keeping electronic files organized and properly filed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Previous administrative, clerical, document management, or data entry experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain accurate tracking records.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track expirable documents, licenses, certifications, registrations, and other required credentials to ensure timely renewals.
• Maintain accurate tracking logs and spreadsheets for upcoming and overdue expirables.
• Notify team members and providers of upcoming expiration dates and outstanding documentation.
• Follow up with appropriate individuals to obtain updated documents before expiration deadlines.Review submitted documents for completeness and route them to the appropriate team member for processing.
• Maintain organized electronic files and ensure documentation is saved in the correct locations.
