Job summary

Alameda Alliance for Health is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to support the Credentialing department and ensure provider files meet NCQA, DHCS, DMHC, and CMS standards. You will coordinate, monitor, and maintain credentialing and recredentialing processes under supervision.

Responsibilities include maintaining the credentialing database, processing applications, auditing files, and preparing committee materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• NAMSS CPCS and/or CPMSM certification preferred.
• 1–3 years of credentialing experience in health care/managed care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare initial credentialing applications for review.
• Send and track credentialing requests and ensure completeness.
• Coordinate initial and recredentialing with the Credentialing Verification Organization (CVO).
• Audit files and obtain required credentialing documents.
• Maintain and audit credentialing data in the database and prepare reports.
