Job summary

UHY International seeks an experienced accounting professional to drive mission-critical projects for mid-market to large-size clients. As an interim controller, you will oversee financial operations, manage month-end closings, and ensure robust controls across complex entities.

You’ll lead multi-faceted engagements, prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, and collaborate with client teams to deliver high-impact results. CPA preferred and willingness to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting/finance experience.
• Experience in complex, multi-entity corporations.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Strong self-motivation and initiative in ambiguous situations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Interim Controller, overseeing financial operations.
• Manage accounting functions, transactions, and month-end closings.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Implement and monitor internal controls for regulatory compliance.
• Lead special projects (system transitions, audit prep, M&A integrations).
