Job summary

Taylor White is seeking an Interim Controller to lead the month-end close, reconcile accounts, and oversee daily accounting operations in a Tampa Bay area on-site, full-time consulting role.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Accounting, 7+ years of supervisory accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and experience with NetSuite and advanced Excel. CPA preferred and readiness to liaise with auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA strongly preferred.
• 1 more line: 7+ years of accounting and supervisory experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and technical accounting skills.
• Experience with audits and year-end processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process and ensure timely reporting.
• Prepare account reconciliations and assist with financial statements.
• Manage daily accounting operations and oversee year-end audit processes.
• Liaise with external auditors and provide ad-hoc management reporting.
• Support special projects and system upgrades as needed.
