Lyneer Search Group is assisting a growth-focused energy company in the New York metro in finding an Interim Chief Financial Officer. The role emphasizes ownership of cash and liquidity, financial insight for decision-making, and close collaboration with the CEO and a third-party accounting firm.

The assignment is hands-on, with responsibilities to sharpen financial structure ahead of the next growth phase, including liquidity planning and enhanced reporting.

Formación

• CFO or senior finance executive experience in fast-growing companies.
• Strong cash flow, liquidity and working capital management skills.
• Experience improving financial reporting and accelerating monthly close.
• Experience with outsourced or third-party accounting providers.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of cash flow management and short-term liquidity planning.
• Build and maintain a short-term cash forecast.
• Evaluate working capital needs amid growth and provide early visibility into cash needs and risks.
• Review the balance sheet and income statement for accuracy and proper accounting treatment.
• Partner with the accounting firm to deliver a faster monthly close.
• Serve as strategic financial partner to the CEO and leadership to improve profitability.
